Dear Xiao:

I am writing to you to reply to your inquiry about applying for admission to our college. In my opinion, I suggest you apply for the medical faculty of our college. There are two reasons. Firstly, this faculty is world famous and you can benefit a lot after studying. Secondly, you can save people's lives when you are graduated. It's a meaningful career.

The restriction to apply for this faculty is not very strict. You are qualify for admission just when you pass the physical health test and your academic record of the entrance examination is high enough.

Because the entrance test consists of Chinese, maths and English, of course you should get ready for those subjects. In addition to that, I suggest you scan some book about basic medicine in order to get some background knowledge of medicine. It will be useful.
